Kizomba Fundamentals

This 4-week course is ideal for both absolute beginners and dancers who already know Kizomba.  You learn the basic steps of Kizomba, how to lead/follow and connect to your partner, and the most important, how to feel the music and dance to it with your partner.

We will go through in detail the techniques to booty mobilisation, the lean & connection, how to use your feet, respect, partnering techniques and variations. The fundamentals are the most important ,and most challenging part of Kizomba. You might hear people say “Kizomba looks easy”. Well, to make the dance “look easy” requires a significant amount of “invisible technique.” We’ll move quickly to ensure we cover lots of ground.

This course covers the main steps & fundamental patterns of Kizomba partner-work.
